Hi, I'm Daniel — using tech for fun

Drones, reinforcement learning, embedded systems & apps. Building cool stuff that moves.

(01) Introduction

I'm Daniel — an embedded software engineer working in bare-metal C and CAN/LIN, who also taught a drone to fly itself. I move across the full stack, from PCB and firmware to Python and ML, and pick up new hardware fast. My philosophy is simple: build cool stuff that moves.

Embedded System / Electronics Engineer

Bare-metal C · CAN · LIN · PCB · Deep RL
Experience
  • Feb – May 2023 Junior Embedded Software Engineer Elinta Motors · Kaunas

Owned the QUAD CAN/LIN tester for an electric drivetrain — a diagnostic tool used for hardware validation — and documented troubleshooting procedures the team still debugs with.

  • Jan – Feb 2023 Embedded Software Engineer Intern Elinta Motors · Kaunas

Wrote CAN and LIN firmware for STM32 microcontrollers and soldered SMD components onto drivetrain tester PCBs.

Education
  • 2023 – 2026
BSc Computer Science, IoT Kristianstad University · Sweden

Thesis on PPO reinforcement learning for autonomous drones — trained in Unreal Engine, then built and flight-tested for real.

  • 2021 – 2023
AP Degree, Embedded Systems Business Academy Aarhus · Denmark
